TL;DR
Skool 360 is school ERP software used by Indian education institutions. Passwords are issued and reset by the school's IT admin, not by the user. There is rarely a Forgot password link that actually works without admin intervention. The fastest path back in: phone the school office during working hours, ask for a Skool 360 password reset, and they will issue a temporary password via SMS. Change it on first login. If you confused this with skool.com — the global creator community platform — the reset for that lives at skool.com/login and works through email.

How Skool 360 passwords work
Each school is a separate tenant on Skool 360. The school's admin panel lets staff create, edit, and reset accounts for students, parents, and teachers. Default passwords are usually issued at the start of an academic year — sometimes auto-generated, sometimes set as a default like the student's date of birth in DDMMYYYY format. Once the user logs in, most tenants force a password change. Strong-password rules vary by deployment: some accept anything six characters or more, others enforce uppercase + number + symbol. Two-factor is uncommon but starting to roll out for staff accounts.
- 1Confirm the correct tenant URL
Verify with your school that you are using the right Skool 360 subdomain. Each institution has its own — there is no global login page.
- 2Try the Forgot password link
If your tenant has one, click it. Sometimes it works via email or SMS OTP. Often it just notifies the admin to reset manually.
- 3Call the school office
If self-serve does not work, phone the office during working hours. Ask specifically for a Skool 360 password reset and identify yourself with admission number or registered phone.
- 4Receive the temporary password
The admin issues a new temporary password from the backend. It arrives via SMS or email within a few minutes.
- 5Log in and change the password
Use the temporary password to sign in. The system will prompt a reset. Pick something memorable — recovery requires admin intervention every time.
- 6Verify by logging out and back in
Sign out and sign back in once with the new password. This confirms the change saved. Bookmark the URL so future logins are one click.
First-time login flow
Open the URL your school provided (often yourschool.skool360.in or similar). Enter the username — typically a phone number, parent phone, or admission ID. Enter the starting password from the welcome SMS, email, or printout. The system will usually prompt a forced reset. Pick a password you will actually remember; recovery is slow because it requires admin intervention. Log out once and log back in to confirm the new password sticks. If you skip that confirmation step and the cached session expires, you may end up locked out from a typo you never noticed.
Reset and recovery flow when you forget
Step one: try the Forgot password link if your tenant shows one. On many deployments it just emails the school admin instead of you, which is unhelpful. Step two — the reliable path — call the school office during working hours and ask for a Skool 360 password reset. Provide your name, class, admission number, or registered phone number for verification. They will reset on the admin panel and SMS or email a new temporary password. It usually arrives within minutes. Step three: log in immediately and change it. Avoid copy-paste from SMS — trailing spaces from Android share menus are a common silent failure.
Common error fixes
Invalid credentials with the right password almost always means a leading or trailing space in the field. Re-type manually. Tenant not found means the URL is wrong — schools occasionally migrate to a new subdomain and old links die. Account locked appears after several wrong attempts; only the admin can unlock. Page not loading is often a content blocker — Skool 360 uses session cookies that strict tracking protection can break. Try Chrome with extensions disabled, or Safari on iPhone. If two-factor is enabled and you do not get the OTP, check that the school has your current phone number on file.
If you actually meant skool.com
skool.com is a different product: a global community + course platform for creators, coaches, and online educators. The login is at skool.com/login. The Forgot password link works through email and arrives within a minute. There is also Sign in with Google. If you run a paid community on skool.com, the gap most operators feel is automation — there is no native auto welcome DM, no churn recovery, no slash commands. tools4skool, a Chrome extension plus dashboard, fills those gaps with a free plan up to 20 DMs per day and paid plans starting at $29/month. Customer Kate Capelli reported turning a $59/mo subscription into $4,000/mo extra revenue in two weeks.
Stop leaving DMs, churn, and revenue on the table.
tools4skool plugs the holes Skool ships with. Free plan forever, paid tiers from $29/mo.
