How to log in to the Skool app
Download the Skool app from the iOS App Store or Google Play. Verify the publisher is Skool Inc. — there are similarly-named apps that are not the real Skool.
Open the app. On the welcome screen, tap Log In. Enter your email and password (or tap Continue with Google / Continue with Apple). The app authenticates against the same credentials as skool.com.
First login: the app asks for notification permission. Allow it — feed alerts, DMs, and live call reminders rely on push notifications. You can mute specific communities later in settings if it gets noisy.

Need a Skool community to begin with?
14-day free trial — no card required. Most community owners decide whether Skool fits within the first week.
Google vs email login on the app
If you signed up on the website with Continue with Google, you must use Continue with Google on the app too. Email + password login will fail with account not found because no email/password record exists for your account.
Apple sign-in works on iOS for users who originally signed up with Apple. Android does not have an Apple sign-in option.
The most common login bug across all platforms is mixing up sign-in methods. If one fails, try the other before assuming your account is gone.
- 1Download the official app
App Store or Google Play. Search Skool: Communities. Verify publisher is Skool Inc.
- 2Open and tap Log In
On the welcome screen.
- 3Pick your sign-in method
Email/password, Google, or Apple — whichever you used at signup.
- 4Enter credentials
Same as the website. Reset via Forgot Password if needed.
- 5Allow notifications
Push alerts for feed replies, DMs, live call reminders.
- 6Update if login loops
Outdated app version is the most common cause. Update from the store and retry.
Common login issues and fixes
App stuck on loading. Force-close the app and reopen. If it persists, sign out (if possible), reinstall the app, sign in fresh.
Wrong password. Tap Forgot Password. Reset email arrives at the email you signed up with — check spam. The reset link works in any browser, including on your phone.
Login loop after entering credentials. Almost always an outdated app version. Update from the App Store / Google Play. Clear app cache (Android) or reinstall (iOS) if updating does not fix it.
Cannot find Skool app on App Store. Search Skool: Communities. Verify publisher is Skool Inc. Other apps with similar names are unrelated — installing the wrong one wastes time.
Two-factor code lost. Email support@skool.com from the account email. Recovery is manual; allow 24–48 business hours.
Biometric login (Face ID / fingerprint)
After your first password login, the Skool app may offer to enable Face ID (iOS) or fingerprint (Android) for fast access. This only stores a local token; your password is not held in the app.
If biometrics get stuck in a loop:
- Disable Face ID for Skool in iOS Settings → Skool → Face ID, then re-enable.
- On Android, settings → Apps → Skool → Permissions → Biometric, toggle off and on.
- Reinstall as a last resort.
Biometrics are convenient but optional. If they break, the password fallback always works.
Switching between Skool accounts
Skool's mobile app does not have a built-in account switcher. To use a different account:
- Sign out of the current account (Settings → Sign Out).
- Sign in with the other email or Google account.
This matters mostly for owners who run multiple communities under different accounts (rare). Most members only need one account, which works across all communities they have joined.
For owners running automation tools like tools4skool, the extension lives in the browser, not the app. Mobile login does not affect tools4skool — that runs on the web side.
Owner-specific notes for the mobile login
If you are an owner, the mobile app is for member-facing engagement — feed posts, comments, DMs. Admin work (course tab configuration, billing, gamification settings, analytics, automation) requires the web. The login is the same for both surfaces.
A common owner pattern: sign in to the web on a laptop for admin and to the mobile app for staying responsive in DMs throughout the day. Members notice when their messages sit unread for 24 hours; the app catches them in real time.
For automated DM responses (welcome flows, churn saves, slash commands), tools4skool runs on the web side and works regardless of whether you are signed in on mobile. The two surfaces share the underlying account, not the running automation.
Stop leaving DMs, churn, and revenue on the table.
tools4skool plugs the holes Skool ships with. Free plan forever, paid tiers from $29/mo.
