For UK members

Joining a community as a UK member:

  • Click the community's join link.
  • Sign up or log in to skool.com.
  • For paid communities, enter a UK card. Stripe processes the payment.
  • If the community is priced in USD ($49/mo), Stripe converts at the prevailing rate plus a small FX fee.
  • Some communities price in GBP directly — no conversion needed.
  • VAT may be added on the receipt if the community owner has VAT collection enabled.

For cancelling: Settings → Subscriptions → Cancel. Standard flow. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

For UK community owners

Setting up a Skool community as a UK-based owner:

1. Sign up at skool.com (no UK-specific signup). 2. Click 'Create a community,' pick a slug. 3. Enter a UK card to start the 14-day free trial. The $99/mo platform fee charges in USD; your card handles conversion. 4. Connect Stripe with a UK Stripe account and UK bank details. 5. Provide UK identity verification documents (passport or driving licence) and company documents if you're routing through a Ltd. 6. Build the classroom, set the monthly member fee, launch.

UK Ltd companies, sole traders, and individuals all work for Stripe Connect. Talk to a UK accountant for the structure that fits your situation.

Stripe payouts to UK bank accounts

How money flows to your UK bank:

  • Standard schedule: 2 business days from charge to UK bank deposit, after the initial 7-day rolling reserve for new accounts.
  • Faster Payments-equivalent ACH lands in UK bank accounts overnight typically.
  • Currency: payouts default to GBP. Stripe converts USD member payments at standard rates.
  • Fees: Stripe takes 2.9% + £0.30 (GBP equivalent) plus Skool's small platform fee. Net ~5% off gross.

First-time UK accounts: Stripe holds the first payout for 7 days during verification. After 30–60 days of clean activity, you'll move to the standard 2-day rolling schedule.

For accounting: Stripe's dashboard exports CSVs in GBP. UK Ltd companies route payouts through company bank → quarterly VAT returns + annual corporation tax. Talk to an accountant for specifics.

Automation layer for UK owners

For UK community owners, the automation gap on Skool is identical to global owners. Native Skool ships almost no welcome DM sequences, churn-recovery DMs, or member CRM.

tools4skool fills the gap as a Chrome extension that piggybacks your existing skool.com session — no password storage, no geo-restriction. UK accounts work identically to US / EU / global.

Features:

  • Auto DM Sequences with multi-condition triggers.
  • Churn Saver — 60-second recovery DM on cancellation.
  • Churn Risk scores — flag cold members before they leave.
  • Comment Miner — extract leads from viral posts.
  • Pipeline (Kanban) and Member Export.

Free plan: 1 sequence, 20 DMs/day, 1 account. Paid: $29 / $59 / $149 per month. Billing is in USD via Stripe; your UK card's conversion applies.

Kate Capelli's case study — $59/mo subscription producing $4,000/mo of additional revenue in two weeks — applies to UK communities the same way it applies to US ones.

Stop leaving DMs, churn, and revenue on the table.

tools4skool plugs the holes Skool ships with. Free plan forever, paid tiers from $29/mo.
