Skool login from the UK — what to know

Skool's login flow is identical in the UK as anywhere else. The wrinkles are around Stripe, VAT, and payouts.

How to log in to Skool from the UK

Skool's login is global — there's no UK-specific signup flow. From a desktop browser:

1. Open skool.com. 2. Click 'Log In' (top-right). 3. Use email + password or Google sign-in. 4. You're in.

From mobile:

1. Open the Skool app on iOS or Android (search 'Skool,' publisher Skool, Inc.). 2. Log in with the same credentials.

Same account works on web and mobile. Switching devices is seamless. There's no separate UK login — your account is global.

For UK members

As a member based in the UK:

  • The platform interface is in English — no UK-specific localization needed.
  • You can join free communities and pay for paid communities through Stripe.
  • Stripe charges your UK card in the community's listed currency. If the community is priced in USD ($49/mo), Stripe converts at the prevailing rate plus a small FX fee.
  • Some community owners price in GBP directly — in that case there's no conversion.
  • VAT may be added to your subscription if the community owner has VAT setup; this shows on your Stripe receipt.

For cancelling: Settings → Subscriptions → Cancel. Same flow as anywhere else.

  1. 1
Open skool.com or the Skool app

On desktop: skool.com in any browser. On mobile: install Skool from App Store / Google Play.

  2. 2
    Click Log In

Top-right on web, or follow the prompts in the mobile app. Use email + password or Google.

  3. 3
Verify your account if it's first-time

Confirm email if needed. From the UK there are no extra verification steps for members.

  4. 4
    For owners: connect Stripe

In Skool's Billing settings, connect a UK Stripe account with UK bank details. Identity verification required.

  5. 5
    Set up VAT if applicable

If you're VAT-registered, enable Stripe Tax or use a tool like Quaderno to collect VAT automatically.

  6. 6
    Add automation if owning

Install tools4skool's Chrome extension. Works identically to non-UK accounts.

For UK owners

As a community owner based in the UK:

  • Sign up at skool.com — no UK-specific signup.
  • Pay the $99/mo platform fee with any UK card.
  • Connect Stripe with a UK Stripe account and UK bank account for member payments.
  • Stripe Connect is fully supported in the UK as a country.
  • You'll need to provide UK identity verification documents (passport or driving licence) and possibly company documents if you're routing through a Ltd company.
  • Payouts land in your UK bank in GBP. Currency conversion from USD member payments happens at Stripe's standard rates.

First-time UK accounts have a 7-day rolling reserve initially while Stripe verifies you. After that, standard 2-day rolling payouts.

VAT and UK tax considerations

VAT handling for UK Skool community owners:

  • If you're VAT-registered and your members are EU/UK consumers, you typically need to charge VAT on subscription fees.
  • Stripe Tax (an add-on) can collect VAT automatically based on member location.
  • For more complex VAT scenarios (cross-EU thresholds, B2B vs B2C), consider a dedicated tool like Quaderno or Octobat plugged into Stripe.
  • Skool itself doesn't handle VAT — that's between you, Stripe, and HMRC.

For anything beyond simple cases, talk to a UK accountant familiar with digital subscriptions. The standard pattern: Ltd company → Stripe Connect → Stripe Tax for VAT collection → quarterly VAT returns to HMRC.

Automation layer (works the same in the UK)

For UK community owners, the automation gap on Skool is the same as anywhere else: no native welcome DM sequences, no churn recovery, no comment-to-lead pipelines, no member CRM.

tools4skool fills the gap as a Chrome extension that piggybacks your existing skool.com session. It works on UK accounts identically to US/EU/global accounts — there's no geo-restriction.

Free plan: 1 sequence, 20 DMs/day. Paid plans: $29/$59/$149 per month (USD; converted to GBP at your card's standard rate).

UK-specific note: tools4skool's billing is in USD via Stripe. For UK accounts that prefer GBP billing, the Stripe conversion happens automatically at checkout. The functionality is identical.

Stop leaving DMs, churn, and revenue on the table.

tools4skool plugs the holes Skool ships with. Free plan forever, paid tiers from $29/mo.
