Cancel a paid Skool subscription
If you're paying monthly for a community and want to stop:
1. Log in. 2. Open the community. 3. Settings (gear icon or profile menu) → Subscription. 4. Click 'Cancel subscription'.
Access stays through end of current billing period. After that you're removed from paid members. The community owner can see you cancelled and may send a churn-saver DM.

Start your own Skool community in 60 seconds.
14-day free trial — no card required. Most community owners decide whether Skool fits within the first week.
Stop email notifications
Skool sends email notifications for new posts, replies, and mentions. To stop them:
1. Account Settings (top-right profile menu). 2. Notifications tab. 3. Toggle off the email categories you don't want.
This is per-account, not per-community. You can keep mobile push but turn off email if you only want one channel.
Leave a community without paying or unsubscribing
If you're in a free community and want to leave:
1. Open the community. 2. Settings (gear icon). 3. 'Leave community'.
Your membership ends immediately. Your account stays. You can rejoin later (subject to owner approval if it's invitation-only).
Deleting your Skool account entirely
If you want to remove yourself from the platform completely:
1. Account Settings. 2. Find 'Delete account' (might be near the bottom). 3. Confirm.
Before deleting, cancel any active paid memberships. Deleting your account doesn't automatically refund Stripe charges. The deletion takes a few days to fully process.
Stop leaving DMs, churn, and revenue on the table.
