Will I get a refund if I cancel mid-month?
No — Skool does not prorate refunds. Your access continues to the end of the current billing period. Plan ahead and cancel at least a day before renewal if you want zero leak.
I cancelled but got charged again — what now?
Email support@skool.com immediately with the charge ID and screenshot of your cancellation confirmation. Ask for a refund. They typically process within 7 business days for clear cases.
How do I know my cancellation went through?
You should see "Cancellation scheduled for [date]" in your subscriptions tab. If it still says "active" with no end date, the cancel did not register — try again.
Can I rejoin after cancelling?
Yes, if the community is still public or you are re-invited. You re-subscribe at the current price (which may be different from your old rate). Some communities lock out previous cancellers; check with the owner.
What happens to my comments and posts?
They stay in the community after you leave. The owner can hide or delete them but they are not auto-removed. Delete sensitive posts before you cancel if you want them gone.
Is this why people are looking for a churn-saver?
Exactly. From the owner side, every cancel that hits Skool's billing means lost recurring revenue — and Skool gives you no tooling to send a save-attempt DM. tools4skool fires a recovery message within 60 seconds of the cancel event so you have a real shot at retaining the member.
