First: is Skool actually down?
Before troubleshooting your end, check whether Skool itself has issues. Skool doesn't run a high-profile public status page, but a few signals:

- Check Skool's official social accounts (X / Twitter) for outage announcements.
- Visit skool.com/community — if other users are also reporting issues, you'll see threads about it.

Browser fixes (web version)
If Skool is up but you specifically can't load it:
1. Hard refresh: Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) or Ctrl+F5 (Windows). 2. Try incognito / private: rules out extension or cookie issues. 3. Clear cache: settings → privacy → clear cached files for skool.com. 4. Disable extensions: ad-blockers and privacy extensions occasionally break Skool's chunked loading. 5. Try a different browser: Chrome → Firefox → Safari to isolate.

Mobile app fixes
If the iOS or Android app is misbehaving:

If notifications stopped, check OS notification settings (Settings → Notifications → Skool) — sometimes those flip off after iOS / Android updates.
Specific symptoms and likely causes
- Login screen loops: clear cookies for skool.com, try incognito
- Video won't play: usually a browser plugin or hardware-acceleration issue. Try a different browser.
- Notifications missing: check OS notification settings, also Skool's own per-community notification toggle
- Posts not appearing: usually a cache issue — hard refresh
- Payment failed: check card status with your bank, try a different card. If Stripe rejected, the issue is with your card not Skool.
- Can't join community: confirm the URL is correct; private communities require an invite.
When to contact Skool support
If you've tried browser/cache/network fixes and Skool itself isn't reporting an outage:
1. Open skool.com (or the app), click the help / question-mark button. 2. Submit a ticket with: what you tried, the symptom, browser/OS/device, screenshots if possible. 3. Response is usually within 24–72 hours.
For billing-related issues (charges, missing payments), include the transaction date and amount. For owner platform issues (community can't post, member list won't load), include the community URL.
