There's no Skool Windows installer
Skool publishes mobile apps for iOS and Android. There is no Windows installer (.exe, .msi, etc.). If you find a 'Skool desktop app for Windows' on a third-party download site, it's not from Skool. Don't install it — likely repackaged or malicious.
Skool's intentional choice is one web codebase that works in any browser plus dedicated mobile apps. Native Windows desktop isn't a focus.

Web version on Windows
skool.com runs in any modern Windows browser — Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, Opera. Full feature set is available. Admin work (Stripe, billing, course building) is web-only across all platforms, so the web version is actually the most powerful version of Skool on any device.
For most owners, the web version pinned as a tab in Chrome on a 1080p monitor is the daily driver.
- 1Open Chrome or Edge on Windows
Either browser supports installing Skool as a PWA.
- 2Visit skool.com
Sign in with your existing email + password or Google OAuth.
- 3Look for the install icon
In the address bar, a small monitor with a down-arrow indicates the PWA install option.
- 4Click install, confirm
Skool now opens as a windowed app, pinnable to taskbar.
- 5Use it like a native app
Pin to taskbar, allow notifications if you want them. Same functionality as the mobile apps for member workflows.
Install as a Progressive Web App on Windows
Chrome and Edge on Windows both support installing Skool as a PWA — a windowed, pinnable app that feels native:
1. Open skool.com in Chrome or Edge 2. Look for the install icon in the address bar (small monitor + down-arrow) 3. Click it, confirm 4. Skool gets its own window and a taskbar entry 5. Pin to taskbar for quick access
Notifications work if you allow them. Skool now feels indistinguishable from a native app for day-to-day use.
Alternative — use the mobile app on a Surface or convertible
If you have a Windows convertible (Surface, Lenovo Yoga, etc.) that supports Android subsystem (WSA, available on Windows 11), you can install the Android version of Skool from the Amazon Appstore or via sideload.
This is rarely worth the complexity for most users. The PWA install in Chrome / Edge gives you the same end result without the WSA setup.
Stop leaving DMs, churn, and revenue on the table.
