What the *+Plus* tier means
AI Automation Society Plus refers to a premium tier of an AI Automation Agency (AAA) community on skool.com. The pattern is common: an owner runs a flagship community at $97–$197/month for the broader audience, then a higher-priced Plus / Pro / Mastermind tier at $497+/month for members who want closer access and agency-specific curriculum.
The +Plus naming doesn't mean it's a Skool feature or a separate platform — it's the same skool.com community, just at the higher pricing tier. Members pay more, get more 1:1 access, smaller cohorts, and content focused on agency operations rather than fundamentals.
Quality varies by specific operator. Some +Plus tiers genuinely deliver — small cohorts, weekly mentorship, real agency case studies. Others are marketing-driven upgrades that deliver thin extra value over the entry tier.
What you typically get in a +Plus tier
Across well-run premium AAA communities:
- Smaller cohort size — usually 30–100 members vs the entry tier's 500+. Cohort intimacy matters for live calls.
- Weekly 1:1 or small-group office hours — direct access to the operator (or senior team members) for build review.
- Agency operations playbook — pricing models, contracts, scoping documents, sales scripts. Not just technical content.
- Working production templates — real agency client deliverables, packaged to clone. Not just toy demos.
- Inner-circle community — DM access to the operator, smaller-feed signal-to-noise, peer connections with other agency operators.
- Quarterly events / retreats — sometimes included, often add-on cost.
What distinguishes good +Plus from thin +Plus: real recent member case studies. If the +Plus tier members are publicly closing $10K-$50K/month agency contracts, the upgrade is paying for itself. If +Plus members are quiet and the only loud voices are the operator and their team, the upgrade is mostly marketing.
Evaluating a +Plus tier before paying
The standard three filters apply with extra scrutiny:
- Owner / lead instructor active in the last 30 days in the +Plus feed specifically (not just the entry tier). Operators sometimes neglect their premium tier as it grows.
- Recent member wins specifically from +Plus members — not from the entry tier, not from older cohorts. Dated case studies inflate perceived value.
- Cohort cadence — weekly office hours minimum at this price point. Monthly is too sparse for $497+/month value.
Fourth filter: refund policy. At $497–$997/month or one-time $5K cohort fees, a refund window is non-negotiable. Reputable operators offer 14-day refunds even at premium tiers. No refunds, all sales final on a $997/month community is a serious red flag.
Fifth filter: ask in the entry tier (if accessible) or via DM to existing members what +Plus actually delivers vs the entry tier. Honest answers from members reveal whether the upgrade is worth it.
Who +Plus tiers are actually for
Premium AAA tiers fit if:
- You're a serious operator already generating $5K+/month in client work and want to scale to $20K+
- You can dedicate 15+ hours/week to building / shipping (the price isn't the issue; consistency is)
- You want operator-level mentorship, not just technical curriculum
- The agency model genuinely fits your skills (you can sell, deliver, and account-manage clients)
They don't fit if:
- You're a beginner who hasn't built your first automation yet — the entry tier's fundamentals will deliver better per-dollar value
- You can't afford it without strain — the price implies you're already generating income to upgrade
- You're hoping the community will sell on your behalf — agency work requires you to do the selling
Most members who succeed at +Plus tiers come in with existing momentum and use the upgrade to accelerate, not to start from zero.
If you're the operator running a +Plus tier
Premium-tier owners face a specific operational pain: members pay more but expect more attention. Manual welcome DMs to a $997/month member need to feel premium, not templated. Cancellations sting more (a $997 churn is a year of revenue lost in one ping).
tools4skool helps premium operators look more responsive than they actually are. Auto DM Sequences with AI-personalised welcome messages (via Claude / GPT-4o) feel hand-crafted. Churn Saver fires within 60 seconds of cancellation with a recovery DM tuned to high-ticket clients. Slash commands let you reply to inbox threads 5× faster while still feeling personal.
Free forever (1 sequence, 20 DMs/day). Paid tiers $29 / $59 / $149/month. Chrome extension piggybacks your existing skool.com session — no password stored. Kate Capelli case study: $59/month tools4skool subscription, $4,000/month additional revenue in two weeks. At premium tiers, the operations layer is what makes the price defensible.
Stop leaving DMs, churn, and revenue on the table.
